Easy pizza dough recipe

This pizza dough recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for creating a delicious homemade pizza. It requires just a few basic ingredients: flour, water, yeast, olive oil, sugar and salt. Simply mix the ingredients, knead the dough, let it rise, and then stretch it out to your desired thickness. Whether you prefer a thin and crispy crust or a thick and chewy base, this versatile dough will be a hit for any pizza night.

Ingredients

  • 400g flour
  • 220g water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 20g fresh yeast or 7g instant yeast
  • 30g olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⏲️ Prep time: 90 min
  • 🍳 Cook time: 4-10 min

Equipment

  • (optional) Pizza oven
  • (optional) Pizza peel

Directions

  1. Dissolve fresh yeast in water; if using instant yeast, put it into flour in step 3
  2. Put flour in the mixing bowl
  3. Add sugar, olive oil and salt to the flour.
  4. Mix the ingredients
  5. Pour water into flour
  6. Work the dough until smooth consitency
  7. Pour a little olive oil into a mixing bowl, and place the dough in it.
  8. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap.
  9. Leave the dough resting for around 60 minutes.
  10. Degas the dough and divide it into 4 balls.
  11. Cover the dough with plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
  12. Heat the oven to the maximum temperature, or if using a pizza oven, 400°C
  13. Stretch the dough balls. Watch on YouTube how to do it properly. DO NOT USE A ROLLING PIN.
  14. Add sauce, cheese, and other toppings.
  15. Bake for 8 minutes in 250°C. 4 minutes in 400°C.
