
Soft flour tortillas recipe
Flour tortillas are a versatile and delicious staple in many cuisines, perfect for tacos, burritos, or wraps. Made with simple ingredients—flour, water, salt, and fat—they’re easy to prepare at home.
Ingredients
- 500g wheat flour
- 100g butter
- 200ml water
- 5g baking powder
- 10g salt

Directions
- Put all ingredient except water into bowl and mix them
- Pour 200ml of hot water into the bowl and kneed the dough until nice smooth consistency
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces, leave them to rest for 20 minutes
- Flatten out the dough thin using rolling pin
- Fry the tortilla on an ungreased skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side
- Cover the tortillas with a cloth when they come off the skillet.
